The German Australian Playschool is expanding its staff again: Teacher and Assistant Teacher wanted immediately! Spielwelt German Parents Association is seeking another wonderful Teacher and lovely Assistant Teacher to join our kind and caring teaching team, at our community-based German-language playschool in Turner, ACT. The position is initially 2-days per week (9am to 3:45pm) for the Teacher; and 1-2 days per week for the Assistant Teacher. The positions have the potential to increase days when relief shifts are offered, and could increase to up to 4-days per week later, depending on the availability of the successful candidates. Candidates must speak excellent German (native speaker preferred), and have experience working with children aged 3-5 years old. The successful candidate for the Teacher role will have either a teaching degree specialising in Early Childhood, or hold a Diploma in Childrens Services (or equivalent), or have a Certificate III in Childrens Services and be working towards the Diploma. Candidates for the Assistant Teacher role will preferably hold Childrens Services qualifications (or equivalent) or have relevant work experience.
