The German Cancer Research Center, Heildelberg calls the e-cigarette, “An uncontrolled experiment with Consumers.” That having been said, this document is an easy read, and in general underscores that many cigarette-related risks of smoking were lessened when using e-cigs. However, they also point out several issues that nobody actually has done research on. A balanced, peer-reviewed look at this emerging product. Short take: Buy quality unit and fluid. Second hand vape is an issue just like smoke. And consider the unknowns.
