The Global Canopy Programme is happy to announce the launch of new analyses on the REDD Desk on legal preparedness for REDD+ in Indonesia, Mexico and Lao PDR. Funded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and developed in collaboration with Climate Focus with support from GLOBE International, the analyses look at how REDD+ fits within current legislation and how it is affected by conflicts between laws, institutions, or legislative gaps within domestic law and policy.
