The Gloster Democrat August 21 Why do people riot when a young unarmed black male is shot? They are full of rage towards a justice system that allows young black males to be killed by white men with no repercussions. It doesnt matter whether Michael Brown shoplifter or not. He was another young unarmed black male shot and killed by a white man who will probably get by with it !! The rioting is an expression of the rage and helplessness the community feels & white people should feel the same way !! My comment!! How come you dont get upset when its black on black killing. Yall need to wake up. It aint the white man holding you down. You need to realize that the political party that you so desperately try to uphold as righteous is the one party that is keeping you down. They have promised the black community all the free stuff you could possibly want and yet you still blame the white man for the down trodding of your race. Here is a history lesson for you. I know the democrat party is big on facts but lets see how long you will keep this post up for your readers. Or will you delete it so that you can continue to blame the white man instead of standing on your own two feet. Now for the history lesson: The democrat party that you align your views with is the very party that was started by the KKK. Trust me when I tell you that the conservative whites in this country have would love nothing more than to WORK hand in hand with the black community provided they showed an interest in taking their future in their own hands instead of wanting handouts. On another note lets see if Michael Browns actions played any part in his death...You say whether he robs a store should not play a part in whether or not he got shot. I disagree. Mostly because Michael Brown would have never been confronted had a robbery call matching his description as being the perp. Here again... Lets say he didnt rob the store. Had he been respectful to the authorities when approached he would have simply walked away. So you tell me!! Can you honestly tell me that white cops patrol black neighborhoods looking for target practice? Does that make sense? Do you know what its like to take the life of another human being? If you have taken another life, have you become so callous to the violence that nothing haunts your sleep filled nights, or do you have nightmares about the life you had to take to save your own? Have you ever been in a struggle with someone where you are fighting to stay alive? If you can answer those questions without blaming someone else other than those that were at fault, I would say that you have a chance to change the culture at large instead of spreading hate and division. P.S. I notice you have a picture of Morgan Freeman on your site. That is one black man I can respect. To put it simply, he never chose the color of his skin to define his character or limit his abilities.
