The God You See VII “That I will not take from a thread even to a shoe latchet, and that I will not take anything that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abraham rich” Genesis 14:23 The God you serve is not limited. When Abraham saw him as “the blesser”, he was able to look at the king of Sodom and said, I am not going to touch anything from you because I don’t want you to share the glory due to my Father; He has already blessed me. Abraham said to him in effect, I am rich, even though by that time nothing has happened, yet he said, God has already blessed me. When Abraham moved to Egypt, if you read the account, the bible said that he was rich in cattle, in silver and all things, he was made wealthy right away anywhere he went, even when the enemies don’t like him, they still gave to him. Why? Because he saw God the way he is, the God that blesses. When he eventually saw God as the God that can bless him in spite of his biological, physiological or medical situation, Isaac came in spite of human limitations. Beloved, God wants to manifest Himself to you as the God that blesses. Take time and meditate on His word until you begin to see Him the way His word describes Him and watch him manifest Himself to you that way. I want you to see something in Genesis chapter 22, the Bible said, God came to the same Abraham and said to him; take your son, your only son that one you loved, I want you to go and sacrifice him to Me. By this time, Abraham had seen God as the One who blesses and if need be, He was able to raise Isaac from the dead, so he didn’t say, Lord, but that is the only one I have. The bible says he woke up very early in the morning, he took Isaac, he took the knife, he took everything and they started going to mount Moraiah where he would sacrifice Isaac. Why would God ask him to kill? God is a God that blesses, you may say. But Abraham said to himself, my part is to obey him, let him do what he wants. By the time he got there, God said, Abraham, you have passed the test! The God he saw was the God he manifested. I see God manifest Himself to you for who He is today in Jesus name.
