The Good News is still Good News. It’s just as good now as it was when Jesus first announced it. "And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and showing the glad tidings (good news) of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him…" Luke 8:1 "And he said unto them, Go you into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15 But when Christians lose sight of the immense goodness of God’s love, mercy and grace extended to sinners thru His Son then they lose their desire to preach the Good News - they lose touch with the goodness of God and therefore they have no Good News to preach - the goodness of the message is no longer burning within them. They keep on preaching but it ain’t Good News they are preaching. The Good News is about God being extremely good to bad people, so that bad people won’t remain bad but will be transformed into the very image of the Son of God, Jesus Christ. ~ ianvincent.wordpress/
