The Gospel The Law of Moses + The Prophets + The Good news of the coming Kingdom of Heaven (Islam) = Gospel Jesus said in Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Luke 4:43 But he said, “I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” In Luke 4:7and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: 18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, 19 TO PROCLAIM THE YEAR OF THE LORDS FAVOR. Why were John the Baptist and Jesus (peace be upon them) baptizing? In John 1:31 stated that he (Muhammad pbuh) might be revealed to Israel In the Quran Allah (swt) revealed: And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad. But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, this is evident sorcery! (Q 61:6) 1
