The Government and Media are doing everything they can to put people against each other. Its the oldest tactic in the book. They get you fighting against each other then they do what they want. Companies use this tactic during Union negotiations and it works. They sit there on there job in their 1000 dollar suits their 200 dollar shoes in New York never working a physical job , one that hurts your back, one that they benefit from because the laborer is making sure they are comfortable. Picking up their garbage, delivering their goods to the store. Has Any of those people dug a ditch, carried heavy items all day, spent all night on a farm making sure their cows are taken care of, drove a tractor all night, no but they benefit from the people that do and many of those people are the ones that need it after years of physical labor. They will continue to say that welfare recipients, Disabled and the Social Security is causing the debt. If your one of those that has never had to deal with any of these circumstances you believe its your money being stolen by lazy people. That makes you judgmental without really knowing circumstances. You dont just prance down to the Social Security Office and get disability. You have to have medical documentation. Your chances under fifty years old are slim to none. Attorneys turn down 75 % of the people that apply because if you dont win your case they dont get paid either. You pay money out of every paycheck in to Social Security funds for your retirement, its not free, you pay money out of every paycheck into Social Security Disability insurance in case you need it. The Government stoled out of these funds and never paid it back. When you get Medicare through disability they deduct the amount out of your check its not free either. Quit complaining and have some compassion you are also one bad injury from needing disability. You could be working today and lose your job tomorrow and need help yourself. You want to complain, complain about the billions thrown away to support other countries, we do it because those are ones that have something to give back like oil or something our Government needs because we dont run our country with our own resources. We want to save our oil reserves, they create shortages in many food products to keep prices up. Do any of you know that the government stored butter, had a milk cow buy out program and killed thousands of milk cows, made milk into powder to store and keep the market from being flooded so that we could have the benefit of lower prices. Farmers dont get more money with less in the market they negotiated contracts that the government controls and get paid little while others made more to keep profits up.
