The Government of Tanzania has rejected the outgoing German Ambassador to Kenya Margit Hellwig-Boette, who has been transferred to Dar-es-Salaam, saying she is among moles who incriminated President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto at the International Criminal Court (ICC). In a statement released by Tanzania’s national radio on Monday, Tanzania President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete said his Government is not ready to work with individuals who opposed the idea of Panafricanism initiated by African fore fathers like Kwame Nkurumah, Julius Nyerere and late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta. Hellwig Boette, who enjoyed a cordial relation with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga will now return to Germany to await fresh instructions.
