The Grand Event Center at the Grand Casino Resort is currently hosting the 6th Annual Tribal Epidemiology Center Public Health Conference. The conference celebrates Tribal public health and looks at issues and concerns regarding Native peoples health. Key note speakers are: Michael E. Bird, who has over 30 years public health experience for Native Americans, Jessica Ann Rickert, the first female American Indian Dentist in the world, and plenty more. The CPN Veterans Organization Color Guard opened the conference with a traditional flag ceremony.
