The Great Esama of Benin Kingdom: Recently I wrote on Mr. Godwin Ehigiamusoe, the CEO/MD of LAPO, an Edo Man who has given jobs to our people over the years, today I will be focusing on the Great Esama of Benin Kingdom who is pride to us, this is a man who has contributed to the socio-economic life of Edo state and beyond, he is a father to many, he has invested is wealth in the lives of Edo people, we do not joke with him neither we will allow anybody for that matter. The fatherly love of the Esama is to the extent that some of his houses in Benin and environs are occupied without paying a dime for years and he does not even bother himself with it, the latest in town is the Kada Cinemas that employed hundreds of our people hitherto would have been jobless. During the property tax struggle, the majority leader of the EDHA used some unpalatable languages for the Esama, we did not take easy with him because we cannot be alive and watch him use such languages on him, he got it hot from us immediately at the King Square, when the Comrade did similar thing, he felt it too and we all spoke against such utterances because we cannot fold our arms and watch anybody denigrate our Esama in any manner not acceptable by us. The great Esama does not have the luxury of time for unnecessary tussle or struggle with those perceived to be his children, as a father, he has made us proud as a people in all ramifications and we will always rally round him. He is a man who will not use his wealth and influence to oppress the poor or his own people, he is an epitome of progress which has transcended to his people. These are the people we should cherish and applaud for the great work and achievements they have attracted to their people, a man who loves investment in both human and capital structures. Esama is a father of all and he knows his onions, he does not bother himself with petty issues and no one should drag the great Esama into self interest issues. May you live long sir and do more for your people.
