‘The Great Indian Middle Class’ is rushing towards hills in summer vacation. Sometimes it seems just a BHEDCHAL the thing middle class is perfect in. This I felt in Macleodganj-the seat of Dalai Lama. Roads r full with vehicles and jammed traffic,hotel rooms packed to the full, a lot of heat generated with overcrowded city and traffic, exerting pressure on civic amenities. The peace of hills is nowhere to listen and enjoy.Hill stations r just like ordinary cities of the plane, Jallandhar Ludhiana with people carrying their baggage of middle class luxury with them.They disturb the hills, its forests and its people.
