The Great egret Its mostly Little egrets I normally see around the Reserve, and they are great to shoot as a single subject, especially with close fly-by, but also in small flock, around that time the year. So it was a nice surprise to see this large Gret egret landing softly just beside platform-1, for a few seconds mind you, and then take off again. Nice sighting, good action, golden colours as the sun was rising, and I really like the wings shadow on its feathers :-)
