The Greater Taylor Chapel AME Church in Franklin KY reported on July 1, 2014 to the Franklin Police a case of Theft by failure to make required disposition of property $10,000 or more. Funds in the amount of $31,006.94 though the church were provided to Sandra Elliot for services (Charters by Sandra). These services were never provided and money obtained from the church was not returned. The investigation conducted by the Franklin Police Department determined that Ms. Elliot fabricated stories to the church and the police regarding this matter. The services were to provide transportation and lodging for a trip to Washington D.C. and New York City. Ms. Elliot informed the victims that the trip was canceled for reasons that were later determined to be false. A warrant was issued by Judge Harrison of the 49th Judicial District Court and the warrant was served by the Simpson County Sheriffs Office. The bond was for $10,000 unsecured. PREPARED BY: Capt.
