The Greatest of all time. Nobody will ever win (18) Major Tournaments. The most remarkable thing about his record of (18) Majors is the fact he finished 2nd in (19) Major Tournaments. His idols growing up were his Dad and the great Bobby Jones who was considered the greatest of all time until Jack came along. There are still some that might say Jones was in fact the best of all time. But when Mr. Jones was approached by a sports writer and asked what he thought about this young phenom Jack Nicklaus and how good he was. Mr. Jones said, I dont know how good he is because he plays a game of which I am not familiar. Many years later Mr. Nicklaus was asked the same question about a young Tiger Woods. Do you know what Mr. Nicklaus said ? And I quote, I dont know because he plays a game of which I am not familiar end quote.
