The Green Party of New Yorks Governor candidate, Howie Hawkins, got a boost this week when a poll in (two) Congressional Districts near Albany showed 12 percent of voters would go for him in November. That means theres a progressive rumble coming up in New York state, Nader said. Theyre really getting sick of double-tongue politicians who sweet talk them back home and then go to Washington and Albany and represent corporate interests and then stick it to the people. Arbetter asked Nader if he thought those high poll numbers, if projected statewide, could win Hawkins a spot in another gubernatorial debate. Nader asked why do we ration debates in this country?
