The Grinchs Alter Ego Van Crawford will be competing for the 5th year in the 6th annual Food Fight against Hunger at the Holiday Inn on Sunday 7/20/14 to benefit the Visalia Rescue Mission from 3pm until 6pm. There will be a Chef competition with local officials, business leaders, and yours truly The Grinch going for the Top Chef. This is sponsored by the California Restaurant Association Central Valley Chapter. They raised over $40,000 in cash and food contributions for the Mission at last years awesome event. Everyone is after The Grinch as in the last 4 years he has won the competition 3 times and received 1 second place finish. Come out and support the Rescue Mission and have a ton of fun. Local restaurants will be serving food and there will be complementary beer and wine served. Must be 21 to attend. You could be part of the action and help the Grinch as the Judges for the competition are selected randomly from the audience. Just kidding on help the Grinch! I have to earn it! It is a BLAST to say the least! Tickets are $25 each (did I mention free beer and wine?) and are available at the door. It is far beyond worth the price of admission!
