The Growly and Fearful Dog Course at Porkellis finished yesterday with some excellent progress and great feedback. The next course will be on Wednesday afternoons at 2.30pm. If you have a growly or fearful dog and are not sure what to do to help them, this is the course for you. We look at understanding our dog’s body language, motivators for their behaviour, their thresholds, management and proactive techniques for helping them make good choices. Also at Porkellis is our Obedience and Life Skills Group, ideal for dogs from 4 months upwards to help you teach them the skills they need in everyday life. We use positive training and fun games to help our dogs focus, teach loose lead walking, recall and manners such at learning not to jump up.
