The Guest Villains were like a parade of stars. They were all played with gusto as comically unhinged, shot with crooked angles to match their flamboyantly anti-social personalities, and obsessively dreamed of deranged schemes of self-aggrandizement and vainglory, but..? I miss their absurd harmlessness. Its hard to imagine, for example, anyone dressing as the Cesar Romero version of Joker to commit real-world mass slaughter, unlike the Dark Knight incarnations did.
