The Hall (so Im told) is still there,,,,in this 1964 picture it was the venue for the touring Vaudeville Shoe Carols Varieties.....Movies would have been shown there way back...thanks perhaps to the traveling picture showmen. Cecil Plains is a Wheat Town on Queenslands Darling Downs. The Cecil Plains Hall..... and wheat silos 1964...Carols Varieties was in town....we did a one night show at the Hall......several of the Carols vehicles are in-picture. The truck at the left with the caravan.....the truck contained an electric generator to power the tent shows.....the Caravan belonged to co-owner Lucky Grills.......Lucky also did the sign-writing and advertising banners for Carols.....
