The Hallsville Police Department and the National Canine Interdiction Association put on a demonstration for the Hallsville Boys and Girls Club today. Topics of instruction included what police K9s do while on duty: searching for missing elderly people, missing young people, tracking criminals, searching for illegal substances, patrolling with their human partners and assisting with cardio workouts for criminals who choose to run from the police (joke). So, HPD K9 Bruce wanted to show off his playful side today. With the assistance of Ms. Barbara, K9 Bruce wanted to show everyone how he walks it out while playing tug of war. I apologize for not being able to add the song to the video. I truly believe it would have added to the cuteness of it. The Hallsville Police Department, the National Canine Interdiction Association, the Hallsville Boys and Girls Club and the City of Hallsville would like to thank everyone for their assistance today.
