**The Hand That Rocks the Cradle Cannot Rock the Boardroom** I - TopicsExpress

**The Hand That Rocks the Cradle Cannot Rock the Boardroom** I came across this debate on working mothers. I think the side against the argument really failed working mothers. One panelist revealed that her partner was a stay at home dad, while the other said Everyone can outsource - we can all buy takeaway! and said she felt really close to her son because she spoke to him on the phone every day. Whereas the panelists who spoke for the argument pointed out that its a mathematical impossibility to be the primary carer for a baby (breastfeed, care for toddlers at home etc) and meet the demanding hours that a CEO has to answer to. The case might be different for different jobs, but if we are talking about the current corporate culture, it seems inconceivable (pardon the pun). Would welcome all your thoughts. abc.net.au/tv/bigideas/stories/2014/04/17/3987045.htm
