The “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” exhibit will open Oct. 17 and 18 in more than a dozen exhibition venues— throughout St. Louis and St. Louis County. 10thstreetgallery/#!hudsvenues The Library is one of 18 venues to display a part of this historic exhibition. It will be open to the public in Central’s Carnegie Room from October 17 – December 20. Reception is Friday, October 17, from 3-5 PM. Sponsored by the Alliance of Black Art Galleries, the work of 101 artists are featured in the exhibition, including pieces from several Alliance gallery owners.
