The Happening - well what can I say? Ironically not much happens in this film. A brief synopsis is that Mother Nature is punishing the human race and lets off some toxin which drives people to kill themselves. When you think about it this film actually could have been amazing but its just Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschanel running away from the wind for about 90 or so minutes. Pretty poor to tell you the truth. Nothing really stood out for me in this film. It didnt offend my senses but it didnt wow me either. The idea is great, execution wasnt. - 3/10 maybe a bit of a generous score though.
