The Hidden Valley Golf and Country Club will be hosting the 3rd Annual Memorial Golf Tournament for cancer research in memory of Jacob Carwile and Jeff Elder on Sunday, July 14th. The funds raised will be donated equally to the two specific cancer foundations designated and a portion will be given as a scholarship to a 2013-14 graduating senior. To kick off the memorial Golf Tournament weekend, we will have dinner and entertainment poolside at Hidden Valley Country Club on Saturday, July 13th beginning at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person or 4 tickets for $100 and can be purchased at Hidden Valley. Please purchase your tickets for this event in advance by calling Mike Borden at 823-1313. You must also call or go by Hidden Valley to sign up for the golf tournament on Sunday. In addition, we will have a silent auction on Saturday night July 13th. If your company has anything you would like to donate for the auction, you may bring it to the Overton Co. Chamber of Commerce or to Hidden Valley Country Club. The money raised from the silent auction will also be donated to cancer research.
