The Highlands was on the walking tour of Ledyard, Connecticut this weekend with a great view of Highland Lake Park while walking around Meetinghouse Lane and Old Country Road. Knocked on 86 doors today in about 7 hours with another 6 sign locations. Plan to finish up the Highlands tomorrow afternoon. Jobs and taxes dominated the voters concerns today, which provided an opportunity to emphasize the Tom Foley for Governor plan to hold the the next biennial budget flat. We need to ensure that the next budget is balanced without borrowing or assessing new taxes, and living within the Constitutional spending cap. Common Sense Commitment to Connecticut.
