The Hijrah “And what is wrong with you that you fight not {fi sabiyl’Illah} in the Cause of Allah [270. i.e. to defend and vindicate His True Religion. That must always be the primary motive], and [271. As an additional reason] for those weak, ill-treated and oppressed among men, women, and children [272. one of the well-recognized objects of the holy war is to rescue the down-trodden], Whose cry is [273. i.e. cry out is sheer helplessness]; Our Lord! Rescue us from this town [of Makka], whose people are oppressors [i.e., ungodly and oppressive]; and raise for us from You on who will protect [to champion our cause and to deliver us from the plight we are in], and raise for us from You one who will help.” Verily! As for those whom the angles take (in death) while they are wronging themselves (as they stayed among the disbelievers even though {hijrah} emigration was obligatory for them), they (angels) say (to them): “In what (condition) were you?” They reply: “We were weak and oppressed on earth.” They (angels) say: “Was not the earth spacious enough for you {fatuhaa’jiruw’} to emigrate therein?” Such men will find their abode in Hell – what an evil destination! (Noble Qur’an Surah 4, An-Nisa’ ayatul 75 and 97). CHAPTER 22. The Statement of Allah (‘AWJ): “Verily! As for those whom the angels take (in death) while they are wronging themselves…..” (V.4:97) 1734. Narrated ibn ‘Abbas (raa) that some Muslim people were with the pagans, increasing the number of the pagans against Allah’s Messenger (saws). An arrow used to be shot which would hit one of them (the Muslims in the company of the pagans) and kill him, or he would be struck and killed (with a sword). Then Allah revealed (above mentioned Verse of the Noble Qur’an). [6:120-O.B] In the mid 80s a man was framed, arrested, tried and convicted for a crime that he had absolutely nothing to do with; he received originally a 7 ½ to 15 yr sentenced which was converted to a 10 to life sentence. No one believed this man and he suffered oppression. After 2010 and nearly 25 yrs after he still suffered as people who didn’t even know him would look this lie up and still hold it against him. He managed to make Hijrah to Egypt in hopes to escape this oppression but still today he suffers this oppression. But he days of running are over for him he is too old to worry about what foolish people think. Surely Allah is his witness and on the Day of Judgment he will receive his requital and those that lied, falsely accused him and continue to carry the lie will receive their reward also. Allahu Akbar, ameen. True story, my story, nuff said.
