The Holy Quran : Chapter 77: Al-Mursalat - English [77:1] In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. [77:1] اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ جو بے انتہا رحم کرنے والا، بِن مانگے دینے والا (اور) بار بار رحم کرنے والا ہے۔ [77:2] By the angels who are sent forth with goodness, [77:2] قسم ہے پے بہ پے بھیجی جانے والیوں کی۔ [77:3] And then they push on with a forceful pushing, [77:3] پھر بہت تیز رفتار ہو جانے والیوں کی۔ [77:4] And by the forces that spread the truth, a good spreading, [77:4] اور (پیغام کو) اچھی طرح نشر کرنے والیوں کی۔ [77:5] And then they distinguish fully between good and evil. [77:5] پھر واضح فرق کرنے والیوں کی۔ [77:6] Then they carry the exhortation far and wide [77:6] پھر انتباہ کرتے ہوئے (صحیفے) پھینکنے والیوں کی۔ [77:7] To excuse some and warn others. [77:7] حجت یا تنبیہ کے طور پر۔ [77:8] Verily, that which you are promised must come to pass. [77:8] یقیناً جس سے تم ڈرائے جا رہے ہو لازماً ہوکر رہنے والا ہے۔ [77:9] So when the stars are made to lose their light, [77:9] پس جب ستارے ماند پڑ جائیں گے۔ [77:10] And when the heaven is rent asunder, [77:10] اور جب آسمان میں (طرح طرح کے) سوراخ کردیئے جائیں گے۔ [77:11] And when the mountains are blown away, [77:11] اور جب پہاڑ جڑوں سے اکھیڑ دیئے جائیں گے۔ [77:12] And when the Messengers are made to appear at the appointed time — [77:12] اور جب رسول مقررہ وقت پر لائے جائیں گے۔ [77:13] For what day has the time of these happenings been appointed? [77:13] کس دن کے لئے اُن کا وقت مقرر تھا؟ [77:14] For the Day of Decision. [77:14] ایک فیصلہ کن دن کے لئے۔ [77:15] And what should make thee know what the Day of Decision is! — [77:15] اور تجھے کیا سمجھائے کہ فیصلہ کن دن کیا ہے؟ [77:16] Woe on that day unto those who reject the truth! [77:16] ہلاکت ہے اُس دِن جھٹلانے والوں پر۔ [77:17] Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? [77:17] کیا ہم نے پہلوں کو ہلاک نہیں کیا؟ [77:18] We will now cause the later ones to follow them. [77:18] پھر ہم بعد میں آنے والوں کو اُن کے پیچھے لاتے ہیں۔ [77:19] Thus do We deal with the guilty. [77:19] اسی طرح ہم مجرموں سے سلوک کیا کرتے ہیں۔ [77:20] Woe on that day unto those who reject the truth! [77:20] ہلاکت ہے اس دِن جھٹلانے والوں پر۔ [77:21] Did We not create you from an insignificant fluid, [77:21] کیا ہم نے تمہیں ایک حقیر پانی سے نہیں پیدا کیا؟ [77:22] And We placed it in a safe place, [77:22] پھر ہم نے اُسے ایک قرار پکڑنے کی محفوظ جگہ پر نہیں رکھا؟ [77:23] For a known measure of time? [77:23] ایک معلوم اندازے تک۔ [77:24] Thus did We measure, and how excellently do We measure! [77:24] پھر ہم نے (اُسے) ترکیب دی۔ پس ہم کیا ہی عمدہ ترکیب دینے والے ہیں۔ [77:25] Woe on that day unto those who reject the truth! [77:25] ہلاکت ہے اُس دِن جھٹلانے والوں پر۔ [77:26] Have We not made the earth so as to hold [77:26] کیا ہم نے زمین کو سمیٹنے والا نہیں بنایا؟ [77:27] The living and the dead? [77:27] زندوں کو بھی اور مُردوں کو بھی۔ [77:28] And We placed thereon high mountains, and gave you sweet water to drink. [77:28] اور ہم نے اس میں بلند و بالا پہاڑ بنائے اور تمہیں میٹھے پانی سے بافراغت سیراب کیا۔ [77:29] Woe on that day unto those who reject the truth! [77:29] ہلاکت ہے اُس دِن جھٹلانے والوں پر۔ [77:30] ‘Now move on towards that which you treated as a lie, [77:30] اس کی سمت چلو جسے تم جھٹلایا کرتے تھے۔ [77:31] ‘Aye, move on towards a shadow which has three sections, [77:31] ایسے سائے کی طرف چلو جو تین شاخوں والا ہے۔ [77:32] ‘Neither affording shade, nor protecting from the flame.’ [77:32] نہ تسکین بخش ہے نہ آگ کی لپٹوں سے بچاتا ہے۔ [77:33] It throws up sparks like huge castles, [77:33] یقیناً وہ ایک قلعہ کی طرح کا شعلہ پھینکتا ہے۔ [77:34] As if they were camels of dim colour. [77:34] گویا وہ جوگیا رنگ کے اُونٹوں کی طرح ہے۔ [77:35] Woe on that day unto those who reject the truth! [77:35] ہلاکت ہے اُس دِن جھٹلانے والوں پر۔ [77:36] This is a day when they shall not be able to speak; [77:36] یہ ہے وہ دن جب وہ گُنگ ہو جائیں گے۔ [77:37] Nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. [77:37] اور ان کو اجازت نہیں دی جائے گی کہ وہ اپنے عذر پیش کریں۔ [77:38] Woe on that day unto those who reject the truth! [77:38] ہلاکت ہے اُس دِن جھٹلانے والوں پر۔ [77:39] ‘This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier peoples together. [77:39] یہ ہے فیصلہ کا دن جس کے لئے ہم نے تمہیں اکٹھا کیا اور پہلوں کو بھی۔ [77:40] ‘If now you have any stratagem, use it against Me.’ [77:40] پس اگر تمہارے پاس کوئی تدبیر ہے تو مجھ پر آزما دیکھو۔ [77:41] Woe on that day unto those who reject the truth! [77:41] ہلاکت ہے اُس دِن جھٹلانے والوں پر۔ [77:42] The righteous will be in the midst of shades and springs, [77:42] یقیناً متّقی سایوں اور چشموں (والی جنت) میں ہوں گے۔ [77:43] And fruits, such as they will desire. [77:43] اور ایسے پھلوں میں جن کی وہ خواہش رکھتے ہیں۔ [77:44] ‘Eat and drink pleasantly as a reward for what you did.’ [77:44] مزے سے کھاؤ اور پیو، اُس بِنا پر جو تم عمل کرتے تھے۔ [77:45] Thus surely do We reward those who do good. [77:45] یقیناً ہم اسی طرح نیکی کرنے والوں کو جزا دیا کرتے ہیں۔ [77:46] Woe on that day unto those who reject the truth! [77:46] ہلاکت ہے اُس دِن جھٹلانے والوں پر [77:47] ‘Eat and enjoy yourselves a little while in this world, O rejectors of truth; surely you are the guilty ones.’ [77:47] کھاؤ اور کچھ دیر معمولی فائدہ اٹھالو۔ یقیناً تم مجرم لوگ ہو۔ [77:48] Woe on that day unto those who reject the truth! [77:48] ہلاکت ہے اُس دِن جھٹلانے والوں پر۔ [77:49] And when it is said unto them, ‘Bow down,’ they do not bow down. [77:49] اور جب ان سے یہ کہا جاتا تھا کہ جُھک جاؤ تو وہ جھکتے نہیں تھے۔ [77:50] Woe on that day unto those who reject the truth! [77:50] ہلاکت ہے اُس دِن جھٹلانے والوں پر۔ [77:51] In which word then, after this, will they believe? [77:51] پس اس کے بعد وہ اور کس بیان پر ایمان لائیں گے؟
