The Horatio School Board of Directors announced Lee Smith will take over the duties as the new Superintendent for the Horatio School District effective July 1, 2014. Smith is married to Dee Ann and they have two children Leigha and Garrett. Smith has been in education for 18 years. He was agriculture teacher for 13 years. Most recently he has been with De Queen the Mena Educational Coop leading Career Tech for the coops service area.
