The Hour of Code was here! 530 students, teachers and administration went through individual tutorials at various levels. Depending on their level, they learned to write programs in Frozen & Angry Bird; built their own game using Tynker; worked with Scratch to animate their own name, create a greeting card and create a Pong game. They programmed a robot using Lightbot; were introduced to Javascript using Kahn Academy; learned to code with Karel the Dog and defeated ogres with CodeCombat. Wow! What an hour! It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop! Mr. Gretz was a happy IT teacher!!
