The House is considering the National Defense Authorization Act this week. I sponsored two amendments to the NDAA, both aimed at ensuring that the Delaware National Guard gets the proper training and equipment needed to safely accomplish its missions. The first amendment reduces wasteful spending while upgrading the C-130 aircrafts flown by the Air National Guard. The second amendment would prevent cuts to National Guard cyber units and reasserts the vital role they play in defending our country’s critical infrastructure.
