The House just voted to pass HR 3, a bill to approve construction - TopicsExpress

The House just voted to pass HR 3, a bill to approve construction of the Keystone XL pipeline hours after a Nebraska court ruling gave the proposed route a green light. The legislation now goes to the Senate, which is expected to approve it. The White House has warned President Obama will veto the legislation. Passage fell largely along party lines, 266-153, with 28 Democrats joining nearly all Republicans in favor. We are very pleased with Rep. Frank Guinta in New Hampshire’s First District who was with the majority in voting to pass the bill. Sadly, despite scores of Democrats voting for it, Congresswoman Annie Kuster once again ignored her constituents and voted against it.
