The Humanitarian Forum participated in the 2-day training on International Humanitarian Law organised by Muslim Charities Forum and International Committee of the Red Cross and British Red Cross. Excellent training and very informative with theory and practical experiences. It gave a good insight into the IHL principles of distinction, precaution and proportionality, which aim to strike a delicate balance between the demands of humanity and the realities of military necessity.
