The Hundred-Foot Journey – This film stars Helen Mirren with a dodgy French accent set in France. Its a story about a family who flee India and arrive in France to set up an Indian Restaurant which turns out to be in direct competition with Madame Mallorys Michelin starred establishment just a hundred-foot away. Its centred around the Indian familys son who is a gifted cook but doesnt see himself quite as a Chef yet so its his journey to becoming a Great Chef. Along the way he falls for a French Sous-chef and ends up in Paris. The film is a bit like Chocolat meets The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and a delight to watch the story unfold and see where it ends up. Its because the script is so good and great actors that it being just over two hours long is not noticed so 4/5 stars from me on this one **** https://youtube/watch?v=yEO1TWeM5JU
