The Hunter Fire Company is hosting the Greene County Volunteer Firemens Association Convention and Parade this week. Come to Hunter and support the Hunter Fire Department and all the mountain top and valley firefighters and their departments. We need and want throngs of spectators at the Mardi Gras Parade on Friday, September 5th at 6:30 and the HUGE Dress Parade on Saturday, September 6th at 2:00. Both parades will be on Main St., Hunter from Bridge St. to to Dolans Lake Pavillion on Ski Bowl Road. These parades dont happen often in Hunter or even on the mountain top and it may not be back here for a long time. Come witness this historical, fun event and support your local volunteer firefighters.
