The Hyderabad police will auction around 2,220 abandoned/unclaimed vehicles after January 15. The vehicles have been kept at the Police Stadium Grounds, at Goshamahal the city. Officials said that these vehicles will publicly auction as per Section 40 of the Hyderabad City Police Act. Particulars of vehicles are available Y. Venkateswara Rao, inspector of police, traffic police station, Goshamahal. An official release stated: Any person having any objection or ownership interest in these vehicles may file an application before the Hyderabad commissioner of police and claim the vehicle within a period of 15 days from the date of notification, failing, which the vehicles will be auctioned...
