The I-15 is back open after almost a week of no traffic flow. The Northbound side is still off limits to commercial vehicles, forcing truckers to make a 50-mile detour to avoid miles 90 to 94. The I-15 wasnt the only road to get washed out by heavy rainfall last week. Much of the Moapa and Sandy Valley landscape has been changed. Drivers on unfamiliar back roads may find themselves grinding through the desert with no warning, or hit too many potholes to make the trip worthwhile.
