The IASA Scholarship Committee is pleased to once again announce its Collegiate Scholarship Program for the 2014-2015 school year. These scholarships are awarded to individuals at a sophomore level or above, who are enrolled in a college with an insurance program, or who are preparing to pursue a career in insurance. Established in 2009, the IASA Scholarship Committee has pledged to grow the program annually with regards to individual award size and the number of scholarship recipients. We are reaching out to select colleges and universities nationwide who specifically offer insurance programs as part of their curricula. IASA recognizes these institutions as having made the commitment to foster students with aspirations of joining the insurance industry upon graduation. The current insurance professional population is not only aging, but has seen noticeable declines over the past decade. This decline has resulted in many opportunities for college graduates to fill these vacancies and begin their careers in the insurance industry. In advocating this scholarship program to your student body, your organization will help us to continue encouraging young talent to pursue a career opportunity in the insurance industry.
