The IMMUNOGLOBULIN and supplies FINALLY arrived, the poor delivery guy felt so bad getting here so late!! Jacquelynn ODaniel....a $9000 dose (yeah that is the cost of each dose...crazy) is waiting in the refrigerator at this very moment and just so you know....it is a 6 hour infusion. Lets hope after 12 weeks of this stuff, YOU FEEL BETTER! And 2015 is a much better year. Lets not forget to thank our insurance, Anthem (however evil they may be) for finally approving this experimental treatment that has been shown effective in countless studies for several years now. Happy that the $2000 a month premiums we have been paying them to cover our family the last 20 years will finally pay off. I feel sorry for anyone with a rare disease, it is a battle with the insurance, and having some healthcare professionals with limited knowledge or lack of desire to educate themselves further can be very very frustrating. Cheers to her motility doctor for being THE MAN ;-)
