The Icelandic prime minister announced today that the climate change report shows unprecedented opportunities for Iceland. Warmer climates up north will expand agriculture. Too bad he failed to read that the Gulf stream might also be jeopardized. Anyways. It is SO important for all you amazing nature lovers out there that seem to admire Iceland to know that at a policy level, Iceland does not care for the environment and views the melting arctic mostly as a chance to open up oil drilling in new territories.
