The Ilfracombe Town Team Spring Clean week kicked off on Sunday morning with a team of volunteer fire fighters cleaning up the benches along Capstone Walk in preparation for painting. Unfortunately inconsiderate parking meant that the engine could not negotiate the emergency access to Capstone Walk and so the firemen were unable to use power hoses to do the cleaning. So it was buckets and brushes and elbow grease!
