The Illinois Department of Transportation announces that the ramp carrying westbound I-74 to southbound I-155 will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 14th. Westbound I‑74 motorists wishing to travel to southbound I-155 can use Exit 98 (Pinecrest Drive) and then proceed on eastbound I‑74 to southbound I-155. The ramp closure is necessary for crews to perform maintenance patching work on the I‑155 pavement. The overall project is the complete reconstruction of I-74 from Pleasant Hill Road to Morton Avenue in Tazewell County. Please slow down and use extreme caution while driving through all work zones.
