The Importance of Prayer: Part 50: Prayer brings LIBERTY(Freedom) in our lives. Liberty or freedom is obtained when a believer has knowledge on what God has said about that situation they are passing through. This is because only the word of God is the truth and it is only the truth that makes one free or brings Liberty. Our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ said in John 8:32, And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. What is truth? Jesus is the truth( John 14:6), in simple terms, Jesus is the word of God(John 1:1-5,14) so the word of God is the TRUTH(John 17:17). Wherever there is truth of God, there is the Spirit of God, for the Lord is that Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is LIBERTY(2 Corinthians 3:17). This is part 50(fifty) of the importance of Prayer and 50 stands for JUBILEE just as our nation is turning 50 years of Independence. There is something that our God has promised His people in the Fiftieth year( Year of JUBILEE), the book of Leviticus 25:10 says, And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and Proclaim LIBERTY through out all the Land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a JUBILEE unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and he shall return every man unto his family. As we continue to look unto God in Prayer, let us know that, this is the year of possessing our possession as the book of Obadiah has said in Obadiah 17, But upon mount zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. Mount Zion stand for a place of prayer. When you possess your possession, it means you have obtained freedom or you have been liberated. May this part 50 of the Importance of Prayer bring Freedom in all areas of your life as you continue to pray in Jesus name, Amen. Pray everyday, pray everytime...Remain Blessed...Shalom...
