The Independence Primary School will be having our annual Art Show on March 13 from 6:30-8:00pm. Students’ work will be displayed throughout the hallways of the Primary School. In the gym, we will host the artist Mark Krieger whose work involves detailed portraits of children from Honduras when he travels there once a year. Blu Monsoon will provide entertainment, which is a well-rounded group of musicians that bring jazz and blues to the halls of the school. Fourth grade students created a large-scale tribute painting for the city’s bicentennial celebration that gives us a look at one of the first school houses in the city. Please come out and enjoy a night of art created by the students of Independence Primary School!
