The Indian Air Force is in a celebratory mood. 82nd year since its formation as just one flight to the Mighty force to reckon with, has been a long journey, Built with the blood and toil of all its members over the years, has given birth to some great traditions. The veterans of all ranks have been the foundation stones of our service and the men presently in uniform make it a point all over the country, to invite everyone including the ladies who have been our Veer-Naaris. All Stations and Units invite all Ranks at different functions and the respect shown to the Veterans is commendable.Transports are arranged from central locations so that all can reach the venue of such gatherings. Each Rank holder is invited to their own respective Group gathering, where all are able to relive their memories of having served this glorious Service. The AFA India, takes this opportunity to thank all Units,Stations and other Establishments of the Indian Air Force who have gone to all possible lengths in ensuring that the traditions of the IAF are maintained in their highest standards. It is necessary for all Veterans to be in touch with the AFA and its Branches, so that information about such gatherings and other matters concerning the IAF keeps reaching them. Thanks Indian Air Force, for remembering!
