Calvary baptized 21. I had no weddings but our associate pastor, Bro. Bill Scaggs, had one wedding. I had four memorial services. Thank you to Bro. Bill for filling in for me last Sunday and Sunday night. This Wednesday night is business meeting around 7 PM after regular services. I will give message for Wednesday night. Sis. Mona Losh did a good job leading last Wednesday. But Thou art holy, O Thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. Psalm 22:3 (KJ21). God lives in the praises of His people. 3 But You are holy, O You Who dwell in [the holy place where] the praises of Israel [are offered]. Psalm 22:3 (AMP). When the blood of animals was presented as a sin-offering by the High Priest in the sanctuary, their bodies were burned outside the precincts of the camp. That is why Jesus, when he sanctified men by the shedding of his own blood, suffered and died outside the city gates. Let us go out to him, then, beyond the boundaries of the camp, proudly bearing his “disgrace”. For we have no permanent city here on earth, we are looking for one in the world to come. Our constant sacrifice to God should be the praise of lips that give thanks to his name. Yet we should not forget to do good and to share our good things with others, for these too are the sort of sacrifices God will accept. Hebrews 13:11-16 (PHILLIPS). If any man speak, let him speak according to the oracles of God. If any man minister, let him do it according to the ability which God giveth, that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.1 Peter 4:11. If you want to keep the devil and his demons away just begin to praise God for all things. After all God’s Word says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 “In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” Would you like to know God’s will – there it is for God’s children. The first thing God would have a person to do is become one of God’s children. Jesus said, ‘You must be born again,” in order to be in God’s family. 15 that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.18 “He that believeth in Him is not condemned; but He that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:3 & 7; 15-18. Each person is just a prayer away from being in the family of God. One man prayed “Lord, remember me.” Luke 23:39-43 (KJ21) 39 And one of the malefactors who was hanged railed against Him, saying, “If thou be Christ, save thyself and us!” 40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, “Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art under the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds.
