The Infrastructure Bill, which contains all of the new rights for - TopicsExpress

The Infrastructure Bill, which contains all of the new rights for fracking companies to trespass under your home without your consent and leave whatever they like down there, is having its Second Reading in the Commons today. The Government minister, spokesperson or MP responsible for the Bill (Baroness Kramer - who happens to run an infrastructure company) will open the debate. A free vote has not been announced for this Bill so MPs will be obliged to vote as their parties tell them to. The Green Party seems to be the only one which is openly against the Infrastructure Bill, so presumably all of the other MPs will be voting for it even though many of them claim to be opposed to fracking and are aware that huge numbers of their constituents oppose it. We should let them know that we do not consider this to be proper representation. As the General Election is looming it may be that they will be more sensitive to their constituents views.
