The Institute of Directors of Zambia is proud to announce the successful launch of the State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) guidelines for Southern Africa by the Hon Minister Robert Sichinga on 26th November 2014, at the Taj Pamodzi Hotel. With SOEs forming the largest sector of the economy in Many African Countries, their importance to National development can not be overemphasized. The launched guidelines can help governments assess and improve the way they exercise the ownership, function and be used as a tool from which to draw and adapt National Ownership and governances practices. We hope to see these guidelines effectively used in the day to day running of our SOEs in Zambia.
