The International Historic Motoring Awards is a yearly event that honors the very best in the classic car world over 16 categories, including Restoration of the Year, Museum/Collection of the Year, and Motoring Event of the Year. One of the biggest awards at the November 20 event was Car of the Year, and were thrilled that it went to Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe CSX2287. The first of six coupes and the only unrestored example, the car broke 23 speed and endurance records at Bonneville in 1965, and it now resides in the Simeone Automotive Museum in Philadelphia.
