The International Labour Organization (ILO) Global Wage Report 2014 warns of stalled wages in many countries, with wages flat over the last two years in developed economies. In some countries, such as Italy, Japan and the UK, average wages are still below where they were before the 2007 financial crisis. The report points to the labour market as a driver of inequality.
